In the past decade, the company has managed four international tours on three continents and produced eighteen plays – including six Irish premieres and seven world premieres – in Dublin. Its productions have been seen on tour throughout Ireland, and in London, Edinburgh and New York.

They include the Irish premieres of David Hare’s Skylight, Edward Albee’s The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?, Glen Berger’s Underneath the Lintel, David Harrower’s Knives in Hens and his Olivier Award-winning play Blackbird.

Most recent productions include the world premiere of Colm Tóibín’s Testament, directed by Garry Hynes, which was commissioned by, and co-produced with, Dublin Theatre Festival; Enda Walsh’s Misterman, co-produced with Galway International Arts Festival, which subsequently toured to St Ann’s Warehouse in New York and the National Theatre in London; and the world premiere of Emma Donoghue’s The Talk of the Town, in collaboration with Hatch Theatre Company and Dublin Theatre Festival.

Other world premieres include Fiona Looney’s trilogy Dandelions, October and Greener, and Paul Howard’s The Last Days of the Celtic Tiger, Between Foxrock and a Hard Place and Breaking Dad.

Landmark’s production of Mark O’Rowe’s Howie the Rookie, starring Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, will play at the Barbican in London and at BAM in New York in November/December 2014.  www.howietherookie.com

Landmark’s productions have won many Irish Times Theatre Awards, including Best Actor (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) for Howie the Rookie, Best Actress (Catherine Walker) for The Talk of the Town and Best Actor (Cillian Murphy) for Misterman.  Landmark Productions received the Judges’ Special Award in The Irish Times Theatre Awards for 2011, in recognition of its ‘sustained excellence in programming and for developing imaginative partnerships to bring quality theatre to the Irish and international stage.’
